Had differing opinions posted in Discord and turns submitted - so since it didn't gel, had to make a combative CHA check.

FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE
(I/C)
The party discussed swiftly options, with Kovid and Wyn settling on the Upper and Lower Barracks as a possible point. “Perhaps we construct a barrier and prepare before we take on another horde,” the dwarf suggested, tapping the map at the hall to the right of their current location. “The barracks might have the right furniture to form such a barrier."
Nodding, Wyn was in agreement. “Oui, Dwarfriend. Let us check out what furniture still be left in de Barracks dat we cen use or prep for. To de lower barracks we go.” He looked over at Brendon and asked, “Du Lac… would ye be willin’ to search de lower barracks door fer traps? I don’t trust dat Grim orc hunter.”
“Yeah, no problem.” He still had his eye fixed on the door, uncomfortable at the thought of leaving the area.
“Merci, mon ami.”
Kovid gave Wyn a clad on the bicep, "I agree with our Elf-Friend.” He was smiling.
As they were turning to leave, Lyra asked, “Do any of you recall if there’s anything we can use as a barricade in the statue room? Think we can tip over the statues? Maybe we can use them as a barricade. Though… that might make some noise.“
“What. The. Fuck?” Lannis asked. “Are you serious? The statue room is THAT room, THAT one where the undead might be. Oh, and yeah, they had shoved the elven statues UP the chimney and in the hearth to gum it up and then seeded it with Shriekers.” He shook his head. “Serious, Goldilocks. I feel you’re barely dialing in your efforts here.” He held up 1 hand, fingers spread and counted them off, saying, “Statue heavy. You dumb. Listen fractals. Look rooms. Find stuff."
Shaking his head, Abraxas stopped the party from heading back down the stairs, pointing at the open doors to the other rooms in this hall that we had just passed. "Amigos, dragging items por Los Barracks no es el idea mejor, yo creo.”
“But we need to make some barrier,” Kovid said. “It worked great last time.”
“Oui. We did not get overrun.”
The Fighter tapped one finger into his open palm. “Tenemos el Cocinera, el Biblioteca, y el Room de Storage. Todos de los rooms teneis items por us a usamos a hacer un barricade. Sin los stairs en our way. In otros palabras...” He looked around, pointing back to the three doors, “We grab things from the three rooms right here, without going up and down the stairs to los Barracks.”
“Hmm.”
He continued, building up some stream. “We have multiple escape routes in case of emergency. We set the barricade (in the hall) on the corner where the Kitchen and Dining room meet. Then someone, Drenbron maybe?” The Scout perked up. “Takes a look in y can run and jump over the barricade if the Undead chase him.”
“I can do that.”
Abraxas nodded in thanks and went on. “We let the Undead build up along the barricade and take them out like last time, BUT we wait for Senora Lygoria to use her Turn until they are ALL out of the room and against the barricade.”
“The man seems fired up,” Lannis commented. “Then we pick off the remaining as they try and push or climb the barricade. It makes more sense to grab the items locally and have someone watching the door and hall as we do so, rather than dragging things from farther away and not having someone watching for changes."

The party talked a bit longer, but eventually they were swayed by the Fighter’s suggestion. Kovid took out his mostly used torch, and Abraxas a fresh one, then had them lit. Abraxas and Lyra went south to the Library, Lannis took the 1 torch and went to the smaller storeroom, and Kovid and Wyn checked out the kitchen, while Brendon stayed a healthy 20’ from the door, bow drawn, eyes peeled, and watched the shadowy portal for any sign of movement. “Well?” he asked after a few minutes of the group looking at the possible material in the abandoned rooms. “What’s the situation?”
“Well, dere is a table in ‘ere an some 3 chairs dat could be used.” Wyn was at the door as Kovid was still poking about. “Most of de stuff from de cabinets and drawers and counters ‘ad been destroyed by de vert goblins afore. But dere are dose tings.”
“Good, good.” He looked further back, seeing Lannis’ torch in the hall. “Big Brain, what’s the store room like?”
“Three barrels left, 1 with water, the other two empty. All big though. Like 30 gallon barrels, so that helps. But we’re talking about 3.”
“Damn. That’s not a lot.” He could see Lyra and eventually Abraxas heading back, the two of them smiling and high fiving each other. “Well?”
“The library,” Lyra intoned slowly. “Is. Fucking. Perfect.”
“Si! Si! Perfecto!”
“Remember some of the kobolds were using it a warren? Has to be a good half dozen tables in there, a huge wall cabinet, at least 7’ tall, a number of sets of books shelves, heavy as all get out, and perhaps a half dozen long benches as well.”
“Well,” Brendon nodded slowly. “Well well well. This all sounds very very doable.” He looked around. “Assuming we have some time and can do this quietly, what’s the plan and how and where are we setting this up?”
Time now is Day 11, 11 AM
(OOC)
Had to make a combative Cha check, Abraxas argument trailed off. But, lots of local stuff!
