It's weird to imagine we've been doing this PBEM for as long as we have. There are emails and discord, but we haven't gotten together as a group for almost 10 months in the flesh. I'd like to imagine by the summer we'll be back and able to play again but truthfully, no one knows. So we keep on keeping on! The adventure is in my mind about 70% done so I hope it'll end about the same time that vaccines are more readily available.

TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE
(I/C)
Hearing the skeletons run towards the group from down the hall, Brendon saluted them with the war hammer and quipped, “Follow me to the party,” before turning to run back to the Butcher’s. “Hey Lass, can you do that exploding Skellie thing again?”
Lyra drew closer to the wight, already making a few swings in her direction. “Sorry Brendon... no can do at the moment. They need to be much closer. But... are those guardians? I don’t know if it’ll work on them.” She found an opening in the wight’s guard and took advantage with a wild swing (>+1 to hit, -1 cold, White 9) but with a hissing squeal, the undead knocking it aside with an upthrust forearm, spoiling the blow.
“I seem to have only half disarmed the Senorita Blanco,” Abraxas moved to the side, coming back around Lannis and his Mirror image, the Magic User continuing his verbal abuse while taking the Ishtari Rod out.
"Suck both my dicks you gothy looking skank. Hit me and you'll finally have that boyfriend your mom's been begging you to bring home. If you sucked this much when you were still alive you could have had him a long time ago."
“I no longer worry why the only Corazon you have is with your Mamacita.” Abraxas thrust with the Scythe and then when the moment came (BX Baby, disarm other arm, <Str -2, Blue 8) hacked upward (>+6 to hit, Blue 18) striking her in the opposite limb (1d8+3 Damage, Blue 7 – 10 Damage and Killed!!) drawing forth a mournful wail as she held her ruined arm and fell over at peace at long last.
Brendon jogged in, seeing the dead wight on the floor, skipped over her corpse and handed the Theystran Hammer to Kovid. “Here you go, Lil Man. We’re being invaded. Swing away Merril.”
“Great job Brendon! Master scout indeed.” Giving it a practice swing, he stepped forward as the sound of running undead drew closer.
“Priestesse, I was gonna aks to borrow de Flail but it seems to not be de case anymore.” He gave the hobgoblin corpse a brief kick and looked up. “We got udder company, indeed.”
“Just a reminder,” Lyra offered, holding her holy symbol up and getting ready to use it, “But I still have the potion of control undead... if those are Guardians it MIGHT Work on them. Any thoughts?”
“Clickity Clackity, SJP. Zombies don’t click unless they’re wearing stripper heels.”
“Bought a set for your golem mom, did you?” Brendon inquired, getting a Friendship Finger in return.
“Tighten up and clench them people, here they come!” Kovid ordered and the group all faced the door as the first skeleton hove into view through the doorframe.
“And this doesn’t even count the orc hunting pack that has been dispatched,” Kovid noted. “Let’s end this fast.”
