Slinging the gore off his sword, Abraxis shouted to Kovid, “Dah Smell, it's how you say, gross?? ¿Si, porque no? These Koboldeses smell gross? Die Koboldeses!!"
Kovid dodged another thrust from the kobold he was fighting, quipping back, “And you thought they smelled bad on the outside, Abraxas!” while beating at the one attacking him.
Lyra skipped backwards, trying to get away from the Kobold menacing her when Lannis slammed into it from behind, his quarterstaff knocking it forward and causing it to stumble before turning around to face the Magic User. “Foul creature, you dare approach me? The insolence of this vermin is unbelievable!” He swung his staff surely and with great arcing swings (<+1 to hit, Pink 6) and although attracted the ankle biters attention, failed to do more than buffet the creature wildly.
Taking advantage of its attention elsewhere, Lyra loaded up another stone and let it fly (<+3 to hit, White 6) but this one missed by inches and clattered into the pile of tables and debris in the corner. Wyn charged into the fight from the side, joining Lannis in harrying the kobold who was now beset on 3 sides and visibly crying (<+3 to hit, Orange 6) as it somehow managed to avoid getting a killing blow.
Menawhile Kovid managed to stomp on his kobold’s foot, pinning it briefly in place for his war hammer to arc over his head and (>+2 to hit, Yellow 17) smash it down on the dogfaced foe, (1d8+1 Damage, Blue 4: 5 Damage and killed!) crushing its skull and drawing a satisfied grunt from the bristling dwarf.
Not to be outdone, Brendon redoubled his efforts, sword dancing up and around, slicing, cutting, thrusting (>+1 to hit, Red 18) until he got a solid blow across the kobold’s neck (1d6 Dam, Red 6 and killed!) where it gurgled on its life blood and fell over.
Abraxis, seeing the dwarf and thief finish off theirs, turned back to the kobold Wyn, Lyra, and Lannis was assaulting and shouldered his way in, 3’ of sharpened steel plunging into the kobold’s lung through its armpit (>+5 to hit, Blue 11) and then ripping through the other side, (1d8+2 Damage, Blue 2: 4 Damage and killed!) putting the last of them down.
Feeling great for their efforts but concerned over the length of the fight and who might have heard, Wyn(>Hear Noise, Orange 12) and Lannis (>Hear Noise, Pink 14) took up position near the door and waited, listening hard while the rest of the group fanned out and searched, Abraxis wiping his sword clean before taking up position near the Magic User and the Elf. After some time they felt comfortable that nothing was out there and with the door closed, the sounds of combat did not attract any unwanted attention.
Kovid after giving the walls a solid once over and seeing the way the kobolds were behaving (Search Secret Door: Yellow 4) was pretty sure there were no secret passages out of the room. Lyra looked high and low for her thrown rocks (White 6) but was only able to find one in the chamber that would be usable (total sling stones – 8).
And lastly, continuing where he left off earlier, Brendon gave the bookcase that was catty corner a solid look over (<Wis +2 bonus, Red 5) where discovered that even though the shelf seemed devoid of tomes, there were two of them that had fallen behind the case, very dusty and there for 30 years, but still viable. He dragged them into the light and Lannis’ eyes grew wide.

There are 5 dead kobolds in this room, and to look at if interested still the SOUTH wall BOOKCASE, the PILE OF TABLES AND CHAIRS the kobolds were using as a warren, the CLOSED CABINET where a kobold had been hiding, and the DESK on the north wall that had not been looked at and had 1 DRAWER on it closed with a keyhole but no key.
And of course you can just leave.
